Our gem mining attraction is entirely self-service, with instructions posted on how to make your key selection and open a locker for materials. You’re welcome to ask one of our team members over in the workshop or office any questions you might have during our open hours.
With 8 different types of material bags you can purchase, you’ve got plenty of options…
We’re currently running the attraction 24/7 with our shop hours 8-5 (Mon-Sat). Bring the whole family and drop by to visit us anytime!!

For BASIC or ESSENTIALS tiers, you have the option to include add-ons below. These are already included in The Mother Lode Package.

Rusty’s Guided Animal Tour
We’ve actually “collected” quite a few cute animals over the years. When you first pull on the property, you may see the goats begging for attention (or food… most likely) over by the parking area. That’s just the start.
Duke, the lovable guard dog, may guide you to visit the pigs, turkey, Spirit the mini horse, and half donkey named Bean. Next door, Rusty runs the occasional Chicken Race with a flock of well-trained hens and the odd exotic rooster. It’s an absolute blast for kids!
Treehouse Reservation
Treehouse Reservations are available as a Gem Mining Package Add-On, automatically included with The Mother Lode Package, or as a separate reservation.
If you’d like a Treehouse reservation separate from Gem Mining, this is also available as a group option. Call (803) 579-0700
